Hello and welcome
My classes are based in Jesmond, Newcastle city center and online, I teach a breath lead approach to Yoga posture work which is the integration of mind, body and breath in a step by step way which can be adapted to all levels. The classes also integrate a broader range of practices other than just posture which includes conscious breath work, cleansing techniques and meditation.
I have over 24+ years of experience and have trained with numerous teachers from the both India and the west, you can find out more about my classes and experience within the site.
1. For those new to Yoga I’m starting a new 6 week beginners course in Jesmond on Monday 15th January and bookings are now being taken.
2. Concious breathwork is very beneficial for mental health, overall wellbeing, I’m starting a 6 week introductory course on Tuesday 16th January and for more information see the breathwork section.
3. I also currently offer an online breathwork session on a Saturday morning from 8.30-9.45 via Zoom for those with some more experience,
You can book for all these and regular Yoga drop in via the classes section of the site, I’m also available for Yoga/breathwork one to one’s or small groups and Thai massaage treatments.

I came to Yoga in 1999 via tanscendental meditation with local teacher Chris Greathead and shortly after found an Iyengar Yoga class with Mary Putman which was a great foundation. I found the combination of regular posture work and meditation really keeps the mind and body in balance.
What I offer
Beginners Yoga courses
Aimed at those with no previous experience, all are welcome and the courses build in a step by step way so you learn the basics of breath awareness and posture work in a safe, supportive and intelligent way.
I provide regular ‘improvers’ and ‘intermediate’ classes depending on your length of experience and what you’re looking for.
One to ones or small groups
I can either do these at my home or travel to you depending on location, much more progress can be made in this setting.
Corporate Yoga Classes
Yoga in the work place can be of great benefit to employees and increase wellbeing.
This are usually once a year and are a great opportunity to get away and go deeper into Yoga practice.
Traditional Thai massage
A wonderful holistic practice which focuses on stretches similar to Yoga and pressure both of which have an invigorating and releasing effect
Available for Yoga classes or courses and Thai massage.
These are either an extended Yoga class or focus on a specific area of practice and development. I also host visiting teacher workshops from those with areas of specific knowledge and experience, many with decades of practice. You’ll also find details of my Yoga retreats in this section.
